We had a blast exploring the surrounding area by cycling, hiking, and even canoeing. The location offered endless opportunities for outdoor activities, making it the perfect destination for an active family like ours. Additionally, the accommodation was top-notch, providing us with a cozy and comfortable base after a long day of exploration. We also loved that we could surf the web effortlessly, which made it easy to plan our daily adventures. This place truly exceeded our expectations!
My kids wished there was a dedicated play area for children.

The renovated old building is stunning with a large garden and a quiet location. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the kitchen is well-equipped, including a washing machine. The owners are friendly and provided a selection of cakes, biscuits, bread, oranges, and milk. There is also an exceptional restaurant opposite the hotel with delicious food and friendly staff. The location is easy to find with good parking facilities.
Felt most welcome, nothing to complain about.

The room was quiet and well-designed, with a nice bathroom. The host, Sonia, was helpful and arranged a lunch reservation. Nearby options for food were good. The breakfast provided a variety of fresh fruit and had a filter coffee maker. Perfect stay!

I recently stayed at a charming bed and breakfast in a quiet area with a large, beautifully renovated old building. The host at La Posada De was incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay. Despite some minor disturbance from other guests, the benefits of staying here far outweighed that small issue. I was delighted to find that the host had specially bought tomatoes for our breakfast, and I appreciated being able to make coffee and tea at my own convenience. The free use of a washing machine was also a great perk, especially for those walking the Via de la Plata.
Everything was spot on! 👌🏼

Welcoming host who provided excellent breakfast supplies and access to a washing machine. Enjoyed the themed room and appreciated the thoughtful extras like books and snacks.

Beautiful, well-appointed property with a large kitchen for tea and coffee. The owners were warm and welcoming. The nearby bar was reasonable and friendly.
The communal area could be shared, which made us unsure about privacy. The rooms sharing the kitchen area had thin walls, causing noise to travel between them.

The twin room at La Posada De Grimaldo was amazing! It had a lovely tile/marble floor that made me feel like I was walking on luxury. The bathroom was fully equipped with a shower, complimentary toiletries, and even a hairdryer. Plus, the room had a patio which was perfect for enjoying the beautiful surroundings. And guess what? There was even a stovetop in the room! It was so convenient for making quick meals or heating up leftovers. I felt like a chef in my own little paradise.
If I have to pick one thing that I liked less about the room, it would be the fact that the bathroom only had complimentary toiletries. I personally prefer a wider range of toiletries to choose from, but I understand that others might still find these complimentary ones enjoyable.

Stayed at La Posada De for one night during our visit to Grimaldo. The host was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were beautifully decorated, spotless, and comfortable. Having a common kitchen was a bonus, allowing us to make coffee and tea at our convenience. The free use of a washing machine was also a great perk for walkers on the Via de la Plata. The property itself was stunning, with a lovely small garden and a peaceful atmosphere. Additionally, the nearby restaurant was excellent and the overall experience was delightful.
Would recommend this hotel.

The country house was like a hidden gem along the Via de la Plata route. Amidst the charming patio, I discovered a tranquil garden and terrace where I could relax and soak up the peaceful atmosphere. It felt like stepping into a nature oasis, far away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Noisy neighboring rooms.

The accommodation was beautiful and well-appointed, with everything we needed for a romantic escape. the host was extremely kind and helpful, going out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We particularly appreciated the free use of a washing machine, which was convenient for walkers like us.
The soundproofing between our room and the neighboring one. We could hear everything that was happening next door, which made it difficult to relax and have a peaceful stay.

We had a wonderful time at La Posada De. The owner, Cesar, was incredibly helpful and welcoming. The property itself is lovely, with a beautiful garden and a well-equipped kitchen for guests to use. The rooms were gorgeous and the bathroom was fabulous. The decor throughout the hotel was tasteful and artistic. We loved the games, books, and comfortable sofas in the common areas. The self-service buffet breakfast was a great touch, with plenty of fruit and fresh orange juice. it felt like a mini holiday rather than just an overnight stay.
Recommend this hotel.

We especially appreciated the large kitchen that provided teas and coffees. the owners were warm and welcoming, and Cesar, in particular, was a delight. the location on a slight rise offered stunning views of the surrounding countryside. We wish we could have stayed longer than one night. Cons: Nothing at all!
